Admission Events
Throughout the academic year, we offer a number of visit days featuring representatives from the undergraduate colleges, the Office of Admission and the Financial Aid Office.


Admission Information Sessions
We encourage you to attend an admission information session, which are available to first-year prospective students and their families. These presentations last an hour and provide important information about the admission process at DePaul. Call our office at 1-800-4-DePaul, extension 57500, or e-mail us at visitdpu@depaul, to register to attend an information session.

*Please note that the Office of Admission will be closed from Tuesday, December 23 - Thursday, January 1, when the university is closed to observe the upcoming holidays.

Lincoln Park Campus

**The Office of Admission will be offering an additional information session at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday. Campus tours won't be offered after the 5:30 p.m. information session.

Campus Tours
Throughout the calendar year, we offer regularly scheduled weekly tours of the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. A student-guided hour-long walking tour of campus follows each admission information session. Please call our office at 1-800-4-DePaul, extension 57500, or e-mail us at visitdpu@depaul, to discuss setting up a campus tour.

Lincoln Park Campus

DePaul offers a wide-range of housing options, all of which have unique characteristics and communities.

Lincoln Park Campus

A tour of one residence hall is included on the Lincoln Park Campus tour when class is in session during the academic year.

Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. & 3 p.m.
Saturday: 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.

Housing Services offers a 12:30 p.m. (CST) residence hall tours of the following halls:

Loop Campus
University Center of Chicago (525 S. State -- at the corner of State and Congress -- main lobby)
Housing Services offers a weekly tour of UCC on Friday afternoons at 2:30 p.m..
 
You do not need to sign-up for the tour, just arrive approximately 5 minutes prior to the tour start time and inform the Security Desk in the UCC Lobby that you are there for the DePaul tour. Tours will include all common areas of the University Center and one unit type. Currently a four-person/four-bedroom apartment is the room shown as part of the tour.

Customized Visits
We can also provide you the opportunity to come for a customized visit, which might include taking a campus tour, sitting in on a class, scheduling an overnight visit and more. Please call our office at 1-800-4-DePaul, extension 57500, or email us at visitdpu@depaul, to discuss setting up a customized visit. Please note: overnight, class and faculty visits are only offered during the regular academic school year and are not offered during mid-term and finals weeks.

Overnight Visits
Overnight visits are an excellent way to experience both the academic and student life aspects of DePaul University. Students stay the night with a current student in the residence halls and then go to a class the following day. Overnight visitors must be seniors in high school and students can visit any night except Friday or Saturday. Please contact us at 1-800-4-DePaul ext. 57500 to reserve your space.

Transfer Students

Advising Appointment
With an individual advising appointment, you and an admission counselor can discuss your academic plans and review your previous coursework and transfer credits at length.  Call us at (312) 362-5551 to schedule a meeting at our Loop Campus at a time convenient for you.  
 
Transfer Information Sessions - The second Friday of each month at 10 a.m., the first Wednesday of every other month at 5:30 p.m., and the third Saturday of each month at 10a.m.

Learn about academic programs, the admission process, transfer of credit and scholarship opportunities during these structured sessions with an admission counselor. All sessions are held at the Loop Campus in suite 101 of the DePaul Center. This session will include a 30-minute presentation and a question-and-answer period. You will also have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with an admission counselor after the presentation.   
 
Undergraduate Visit Days
Explore the wide range of academic programs and support services available for adult and transfer students. Talk with admission counselors and program representatives about your individual interests and questions.  You can also see the university for yourself on a campus tour.  

Accelerated Transfer Admissions Day - Every first Friday from 10am-3pm at the Loop Campus
Find out, on the spot, about your opportunities for success at DePaul.  An admission counselor will review your application and give you an admission decision before you leave.  You also can find out more about academic programs and student life. You’ll need to bring official transcripts in a sealed envelope from all colleges or universities you have attended.  If you have less than 30 semester (44 quarter) hours of transferable credit, you also must bring your high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores.
